This is for guys who can code using PHP. Freshers will be preferred.
If you have worked on WordPress before, please check this first.
Minimum Requirements:
- You must know core PHP very well.
- Ability to solve problem logically rather than trail-n-error approach.
- Familiarity with java-script and CSS is expected.
Your chances are high…
- If you have used cURL library in PHP.
- If you have parsed XML or RSS/ATOM feeds in PHP – with or without third-party libraries. (check this)
- If you have used any web-service API. (Example – Twitter API)
What you will be doing at rtCamp:
- In first month, your PHP skilled will be polished. You will be trained for WordPress development.
- If you catch up with WordPress faster, you will be given some in-house/open-source WordPress projects to work on.
- Once you become WordPress pro, you will spend time on creating themes and/or plugins for WordPress/BuddyPress/bbPress.
- At rtCamp, you will be free to start your day from Google reader, facebook, twitter. We are all social animals here.
- You will be encouraged to post about your work and discoveries online, in open-source, in companies paid time.
