This is for folks who like to manage and lead teams of hardworking developers and designers at rtCamp.
As our team has grown big, we need a project manager/team leader who knows how to document the process and extremely good at the art of getting things done. You will be never expected to do any kind of designing/development/coding/testing yourself. But if you have some experience that will make you a good fit for this role.
Before you apply let us tell you the one big challenge you will ever face – rather than having one long-running project, you will be having multiple small-duration, typically theme-design projects. Team size will be restricted to 2 or 3 in most cases. Sounds interesting? Cool. Go ahead!
Minimum Requirements:
- Your English must be good. Written as well as verbal English.
- Management degree is not mandatory but you should be able to prove your managerial skills.
- You should be very punctual as you coming late to office by an hour can waste other rtCampers’ valuable time. No matter what happens you should reach office before 10AM.
- You should have respect for your team-members no matter how junior they are. There is no place for ego on Round Table!
Your chances are high…
- If you have a formal work-experience as manager/team-leader/senior-developer who managed someone.
- If you have managed/worked on WordPress or web-designing project.
- If you have used Google docs, Skype, NoteableApp, ActiveCollab/Basecamp or any other task-management/online-collaboration application.
What you will be doing at rtCamp…
- Your main goal will be to manage a big team of designers and developers. You will be responsible for smooth collaboration among them.
- You will be interacting with the sales team and clients on different aspects of projects.
- For technical assistance, you will always have a developer with you. Your mission should be ‘getting-things-done’, and not ‘do-it-yourself!’
- You should love creating & executing management processes. You will get all tools you need to fulfill just one goal - increasing overall productivity through better management rather than overtime-culture.
