We are happy to announce that we have released another WordPress plugin called rtWidgets. This plugin is assortment of WordPress sidebar widgets.
This plugin provides the options page where user can activate or deactivate these widgets on one click. This way when number of widgets will increase, you will be able to avoid clutter on widget UI.
Idea
From time to time we need to develop sidebar widgets for different projects. Some of these widgets made way into rtPanel theme framework. Other remained trapped inside client projects.
So we thought about creating a plugin which will act as collection of widgets. By default, these widgets will render nicely for rtPanel and other standard themes. Some themes might require a tweak or two!
List of Widgets
First release includes only 4 widgets as of now.
Categories Widget
It provides multiple category filter options, like Order by, Sort by and Number of categories to be shown.
Comments with Gravatar
This show the list of recent comments with commenter gravatar.
Multiple Menus
It provides 2 custom menu options, for each of which we can select the respective menu.
Subscribe Widget
It provides following options:
- Email subscription options for Feedburner and MailChimp.
- Social media icons for facebook, twitter, google-plus, linkedin and many more networks
