- WordPress.com drops Twitter from Jetpack auto-sharing feature due to pricing of Twitter API. Users now need to manually share the links on Twitter, while auto-sharing continues with other social networks.
- LearnDash announces acquisition of Real Big Plugins’ collection along with their team also joining. This acquisition aims to enhance the courses available on LearnDash platform with exciting new features and offerings for the learners.
- WooCommerce launches Woo Express, a managed eCommerce hosting solution with a selection of hand-picked extensions already built-in. Merchants also get the option to use a payment gateway of their choice.
- WordPress SQLite database integration has been rewritten with the ability to handle WordPress queries properly. It is being proposed to be included as part of WordPress Core, and the plugin extensively tested to gather feedback.
