• The latest released WP-CLI v2.12.0 introduces ‘pluck’ and ‘patch’ for cache and transient commands, enabling direct manipulation of nested data.
• WooCommerce named Square as preferred POS partner, enhancing omnichannel commerce with seamless inventory and payment sync.

• OpenAI’s Codex, GitHub’s Copilot, and Google’s Gemini Advanced introduced autonomous coding agents. They automate tasks like bug fixes, code generation, and repository integration, enhancing developer productivity.
• Google unveiled Veo 3, an AI video generator with synchronized audio, at Google I/O, alongside Flow, enabling creators to produce cinematic clips from simple prompts.
