Insights

Gatsby released v4.0 of Gatsby-source-WordPress, the Gatsby plugin used to help fetch data from WordPress in WP-Gatsby decoupled websites. v4.0 fixes all important issues with the previous versions. Difficulties with data caching are solved and hence incremental builds and WordPress-esque live previews now work without problems and are much easier to implement.

With WPGraphQL extensions for important WordPress plugins already available and Gatsby’s exhaustive plugin library, having a blazing fast decoupled WordPress website (such as OpenWeb’s) is now more viable than ever.
