Monthly Roundup – August 2025

In August, we attended WordCamp US in Portland, Oregon, where anticipation was high for Matt Mullenweg’s keynote. He outlined WordPress’s near, and long-term roadmap, with particular buzz around upcoming collaboration features, the redesigned admin experience, and, of course, new AI capabilities that captured everyone’s attention.

We saw significant interest for our OnePress framework that helps large organizations orchestrate multiple WordPress websites at scale.

Building on this vision, we released OneDesign last month to share ready to use design patterns to an enthusiastic response by community and enterprise teams.

And now, we are launching another important component of this framework—OneUpdate

Aligned with OnePress, the idea is simple—monitor, manage and update plugins for all your websites from one dashboard. This is specifically useful for enterprises struggling with fragmented plugin stacks, and rising governance costs across multiple websites, OneUpdate enables centralized plugin installs & updates with CI/CD workflows.

Download the plugin from the OneUpdate repo, and test, contribute, or share your ideas.

GoDAM, our advanced video and all-in-one media management plugin has been making steady progress. With smart transcoding, Gravity forms integration, ads integration, and interactive video layers, GoDAM is an advanced video experience that feels native to WordPress.
