WordPress VIP Is the Only “Customers’ Choice” in Gartner’s Voice of the Customer for Web Content Management

Few recognitions are harder to argue against, especially when it comes straight from customers. WordPress VIP has recently been named the sole “Customers’ Choice” in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer report for Web Content Management. As a WordPress VIP Premier Agency Partner since 2016, we find this a milestone worth celebrating, not just for VIP, but for the entire WordPress ecosystem.

What Makes This Recognition Different

The “Customers’ Choice” designation is built entirely on verified customer reviews collected over 18 months ending October 2025. Gartner gathered 619 reviews across the web content management market and plotted vendors on two axes: User Interest and Adoption, and Overall Experience. Only vendors scoring above the market average on both axes earn this designation.

Seven vendors qualified for the 2025 evaluation: Adobe, Contentful, Kontent.ai, Optimizely, Sanity, Storyblok, and WordPress VIP. Of those seven, WordPress VIP was the only one to land in the “Customers’ Choice” quadrant. That’s a strong signal consistent with what we’ve seen firsthand while helping global enterprises build on the WordPress VIP platform over the past decade.

The Numbers behind this Achievement

WordPress VIP received a 4.9 overall rating across 44 verified reviews from customers, with 89% giving five stars. There were zero one-star or two-star ratings.

Across evaluation categories, Support Experience hit 4.9, while Product Capabilities and Deployment Experience both reached 4.8. Sales Experience came in at 4.6. WordPress VIP surpassed every other vendor in all four dimensions.

The reviewer base isn’t lightweight either. Nearly half of the respondents represent organizations with revenue exceeding $1 billion, spanning media, manufacturing, and services. 57% of the respondents are based in North America.

Gartner Voice of the Customer Willingness to Recommend WordPress VIP Chart

95% of reviewers said they would recommend the platform, and that is the highest rate among all evaluated vendors.
