WordCamp Asia 2026: How rtCamp is showing up in Mumbai
WordCamp Asia returns to Mumbai this April 9–11, at the Jio World Convention Center and we’ll be there with a full team. Four speakers across three conference tracks, table leads and a workshop facilitator on Contributor Day, an emcee helping run the show, and a booth where we’d love to meet you.
Here are all the places you will find us at.
Contributor Day on April 9
If you’ve followed rtCamp for any length of time, you probably know this about us: we contribute to WordPress Core. We’ve done it for 34 consecutive releases, going back to version 3.6. Contributor Days at WordCamps are where a lot of that energy comes together in person.
Five rtCampers will be on the ground as table leads, helping other contributors find their footing and get things done:
- Pathan AmaanKhan and Rutvik Savsani at the Core table
- Mayank Tripathi at Core Editor
- Aditya Dhade at Core Performance
- Lovekesh Kumar at CLI
- David Levine at Core AI (digital table lead)
Table leads match contributors with tasks that fit, answer any questions, and keep the day productive. It’s an important job that makes sure new contributors can get familiar with the process, while old ones can actually move the needle on respective projects.
Indira Biswas from our QA team will co-facilitate the WordPress Core Development Setup workshop that morning. If you’ve been meaning to set up a Core development environment and never quite gotten around to it, this is a good reason to show up early.
On stage, April 10 & 11
We have four talks spread across the Foundation, Growth, and Enterprise tracks.
April 10
Rahul Bansal — “How to Start an Enterprise WordPress Agency in 2026” – Enterprise Track · 3:55 PM IST
The CEO and founder of rtCamp, his session draws on seventeen years of building and scaling the company, from its earliest days to working with some of the largest enterprise brands and publishers in the WordPress ecosystem. He’ll share a grounded look at what it takes to build an enterprise WordPress agency today.
Aviral Mittal — “How to Sell WordPress: Know Who You’re Building For” – Foundation Track · 1:30 PM IST
Aviral, our CMO, will make the case for a deeper, consultative selling process that keeps the core users at the center of conversations. Not the preoccupations of builders. Perhaps a conversation that doesn’t happen often enough.
Maitreyie Chavan — “Project Delivery: Somewhere Between Plan A and Reality” – Growth Track · 2:25 PM IST
Maitreyie leads client delivery at rtCamp, and her talk is about the part of project work that rarely makes it into case studies: the check-ins, course corrections, and judgment calls between kickoff and launch. If you’ve ever managed delivery at a growing agency, this one will feel familiar.
April 11
Rahi Prajapati — “Enterprise WordPress Isn’t Just Bigger WordPress: Lessons from the Field” – Enterprise Track · 10:20 AM IST
Rahi, our CTO, will walk through the engineering depth and processes that separate a vanilla WordPress setup from a true enterprise implementation. If performance engineering and technical leadership at scale are your thing, this is one to catch.
Open Source Library
Maitreyie will also be a part of the Open Source Library program on Contributor Day, a format for experienced community members to have focused, one-on-one conversations. She’ll be available for 15-minute sessions on client delivery, project management, and building healthy client relationships.
Behind the Mic
Indira, in addition to co-facilitating the Core Development Setup workshop, will serve as one of the event’s emcees along with Tremi Dkhar, introducing speakers, sharing announcements, and keeping the energy moving between sessions. It’s the kind of role that holds an event together, and we’re glad they’re part of it.
Our organizer at the program team
Joel Abreo from rtCamp is part of the Program team of organizers at WordCamp Asia 2026. The program team handles the conference agenda, including speaker selection, session scheduling, and how the three conference tracks are organized across the two days following Contributor Day.
Come say hello
We’re an Author Sponsor at WordCamp Asia 2026. You’ll find our booth at Jasmine Hall 2 on Friday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM IST) and Saturday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST).
Whether you want to talk about complex migrations, headless WordPress, contributing to Core, or just want to say hi, please stop by. We love conversations.
See you in Mumbai!
