free lunch 1 Work Culture & Facilities#1. Free Lunch! Yum!!!

We keep hearing that “There is no such thing as a free lunch“. But in rtCamp, lunch is always free and if someone like to work late night, they can order dinner also for free. When we say free, we mean it! :)

And please don’t take us wrong by words “late night work”. We offer flexible timings so some late risers shows up late and then work till odd-hours.

While many companies (at least of our size) feels insecure while exposing their team to the outside world, we encourage rtCampers to showcase their talent aggressively. Our blog network editors proactively take efforts to get rtCampers talking about their work & skills through blogs, social-media, open-source platforms as well local tech-events.

open source Work Culture & Facilities#3. Open Source Contribution

We encourage our developers/designers to release their work in open-source. A step ahead, we provide launchpad for amazing ideas to complement efforts put by rtCampers.

#4. Learning & Camping

We maintain internal mailing lists where cool articles and tutorials are forwarded all the time, often followed by healthy discussion. Then another hour go on playing with new technologies and discussing new tricks with fellow developers. This all happens in companies pay time! ;-)

We encourage our team to attend various tech and blogging events like barCamp/blogCamp. Inside rtCamp, we organize informal meetup where our team discuss about tricks & techniques they learned recently.

Ok, this is getting longer than expected and so let us wrap up with some non-trivial facts about rtCamp…

  • Convenient Office Location: Our office is located in Koregaon Park, one of the most favorite and easily accessible destination in Pune. Being situated in the heart of city gives rtCampers easy access to many facilities that normally need to be comprised at remote work locations.
  • A big NO to Dress Code: We love Google, and we agree to their philosophy that “You can be serious without a suit”. So there is no restriction on dress code from our side. Still, if you like to dress smartly, we won’t bother.
  • Flexible Timings: Our office opens at 9AM in the morning and remains open till late night. We are not workaholic. It’s just that we are flexible about timings. So choose a schedule which suits you the best!
  • Quality over Quantity: It’s not about volume of work you can deliver. Inside rtCamp, quality work is all you need to set your career growing.
  • We love standards: Be it w3c validation or coding convention, we love standards. We also maintain our own coding standards and internal frameworks to make sure quality is maintained all the time.
